U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company markets its moist smokeless tobacco products to adult tobacco consumers. At U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company, we are committed to being a responsible manufacturer and marketer of the highest quality smokeless tobacco for adult tobacco consumers.
Our marketing programs are designed to enhance brand awareness, recognition and loyalty among adult tobacco consumers in a responsible way.
USSTC does not pay for or endorse any placement of its products or brand imagery in any movies, TV shows or other public entertainment media. We have a long-standing practice of refusing requests for product placement or use of our brand imagery.
Kids should not use tobacco products. We support legislation that would help
prevent underage retail access to tobacco products.

USSTC is the only smokeless tobacco manufacturer to sign the Smokeless Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement with 45 state attorneys general. Under this agreement, the company adopted an array of marketing and advertising restrictions, and agreed to contribute to a national fund, the primary purpose of which is to fund programs to reduce youth usage of tobacco products. USSTC today remains the only smokeless tobacco company in the country participating in this
agreement.

The Tobacco Settlement Agreements:
- limit each participating manufacturer to a single brand name sponsorship in any 12-month period; and
- prohibit manufacturers from engaging in brand name sponsorships of concerts, events in which youth are a significant percentage of the intended audience, events in which any paid participants or contestants are youth, or any athletic event between opposing teams in any football, basketball, baseball, soccer or hockey league.
USSTC currently does not conduct a brand name sponsorship.
